This Privacy Policy applies to the Abmaxxing mobile application
("Application"), available on iOS and Android, developed by the Abmaxxing
Team. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of
information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
The Application may collect certain information automatically when you
download and use it, including:
- Your device's IP address and device model
- Usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration)
- App settings and preferences
- Operating system version (iOS / Android)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data for app stability
Body & Personal Data You Provide
What We Collect
- Photos of your torso/midsection submitted for AI abs scanning
- Your generated Abs Score, body-fat estimate, and pack-count classification (e.g. 4-pack, 6-pack)
- Breakdown metrics such as Upper Abs, Lower Abs, Obliques, Deep Core, and V-Taper scores
- Workout logs, completed exercises, sets, and reps
- Nutrition entries including meals logged, calories, and macros (protein, carbs, fat)
- Goal settings (e.g. target physique, target abs score)
- Messages you send to the in-app AI Coach
- Display name and leaderboard ranking data, if you opt into the leaderboard
- Subscription and account information
- Feedback or support messages you send us
How We Use This Data
- To analyze your submitted photos and generate your Abs Score and breakdown metrics
- To build and adjust your personalized workout plans (e.g. core-focused routines)
- To calculate daily calorie and macro targets and track your nutrition progress
- To chart your Abs Score and physique progress over time
- To power the AI Coach's responses to your questions
- To rank you on the leaderboard relative to other users, if enabled
- To save your personal settings and fitness goals
- To improve app performance and feature quality
- To troubleshoot technical issues and enhance the user experience
- To process and manage your subscription
Your Photos & Scan Data
Your Scan Photos Are Private: We understand that body photos and
physique data are sensitive. Your scan photos, Abs Score history, and personal
information are:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Never sold to third parties
- Never shared publicly without your explicit permission
- Used only to power your personal Abmaxxing experience within the app
- Deletable at any time through the app settings or by contacting support
- Stored securely with industry-standard encryption
AI Photo Analysis
Abmaxxing uses AI models to analyze photos you submit and generate your Abs Score,
body-fat estimate, and related breakdown metrics. We treat this data with particular care:
- Scan photos are never used for advertising or profiling purposes
- Scan photos are never shared with insurance companies, employers, or third-party marketers
- Photos are processed to generate your score and are not used to train models on an identifiable basis without your consent
- Leaderboard entries display your chosen display name and score only — scan photos are never shown to other users
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to help operate and improve the application.
These services may have access to anonymized or aggregated data only.
The Application uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat (for subscription management on iOS and Android)
- AI/ML processing providers (for photo-based abs scoring and AI Coach responses)
- Apple Analytics / Firebase (for app performance monitoring)
- Crashlytics (for stability reporting and bug tracking)
- Cloud Storage Services (for scan and progress data backup and sync)
Platform-Specific Information
iOS (Apple App Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and App Store account
- Apple may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy
- iCloud backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Android (Google Play Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Google account and Google Play
- Google may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy
- Google Drive backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Data Storage and Security
Local & Cloud Storage
- Your scan history, workout logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud for backup.
- We do not sell your personal or body-image data to third parties.
- All data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.3).
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration,
or destruction. This includes encryption, secure servers, access controls, and regular security
audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot
guarantee absolute security.
Opt-Out Rights
You may stop data collection at any time by:
- Uninstalling the application from your device
- Requesting account and data deletion via support (email below)
- Disabling analytics in the app settings
- Opting out of the public leaderboard within the app settings
- Deleting individual scans, meal logs, or your entire history within the app
Data Retention
We retain user data as long as you use the app and maintain an active account. If you delete
the app, local data is removed from your device. You can request complete deletion of any
cloud-synced data by contacting support. Scan photos, score history, and nutrition logs remain
stored until you explicitly delete them or request account deletion. Subscription data is
retained by the App Store or Google Play provider for billing history in accordance with their
policies.
Age Restrictions
Age Requirement: Abmaxxing is a fitness tracking app intended for users aged
16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information, including
photos, from children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided
us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete
such information.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data and scan/progress history
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data (including all scan photos, scores, and logs)
- Objection to data processing
- Data portability (export your progress history)
- Restriction of processing

International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure
appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy
and applicable laws.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy
Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to
delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We
do not sell personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for
legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We
encourage you to review this policy periodically. For significant changes affecting your
personal or photo data, we will notify you through the app or via email.
